Quirin Amper Jr.

Quirin Amper Jr. (born February 22, 1935 in Munich ; † December 23, 1998 there ) was a German composer .

Amper, partly together with Fred Strittmatter, played a key role in the background music for the slapstick series Dick and Doof , Fathers of Clothes , My Uncle from Mars , Charming Jeannie , In Love with a Witch and Westerns from yesterday . He published some of his recordings under the pseudonyms Alois Linner , Bert Rosskopf and Eric Frantzen .

Together with the singer Helga Reichel (* 1939) he has two sons, Robert Amper and Thomas Amper , who are also active in the film industry. Amper was buried in Gilching-Argelsried .
