Career

From TSG Hofherrnweiler-Unterrombach, Hottmann joined the youth team at VfB Stuttgart in 2012 . In the 2018/19 regional league season , he played five times for VfB's second team. Hottmann won the 2018/19 DFB Junior Club Cup with the Swabians and reached the 2018/19 A-Junior Bundesliga final . VfB Stuttgart awarded him to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach for the 2019/20 third division season . Hottmann made his professional debut in the 3rd division at the season opener against MSV Duisburg on July 20, 2019.

National team

At the U-17 European Championship 2017 , Hottmann was in all three preliminary round matches for the German U-17 national team. He scored a European Championship goal against Ireland on May 10, 2017.
