Eric Shea

Eric Shea (born February 14, 1960 in Los Angeles County , California ) is an American actor .

Shea attended the same school as Melissa Gilbert and Michael Landon's children.

One of his first roles he played in 1968 in the film comedy Yours, Mine and Ours ( Yours, Mine and Ours ) on the side of Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda . In 1972 Shea starred alongside Yul Brynner and Samantha Eggar in the television series Anna and the King ( Anna and the King ), where he played Anna's son Louis. In December 1972 he had a bigger role in the disaster film The Poseidon Inferno ( The Poseidon Adventure ). He was part of a sibling couple (his sister was played by Pamela Sue Martin ) who are struggling to survive on a capsized ship floating keel up in the Mediterranean Sea. Gene Hackman , Ernest Borgnine , Stella Stevens and Shelley Winters embodied other passengers. In 1973 Shea starred in the adventure comedy Ace Eli and Rodger of the Skies , the story of which was developed by Steven Spielberg . At the side of James Garner he worked in 1974 in the adventure film Südsee-Cowboy ( The Castaway Cowboy ).

On television he was seen in the role of "Whiz Kid Alvin Fernald" in four episodes of The Wonderful World of Disney . Alvin Fernald was a young inventor, as was Jason, whom he embodied in two episodes of the family series Our Little Farm .

Shea played in other popular television series at a young age, such as Batman , Smoking Guns or Emergency Call California . In 1978 he played his last role in the drama Who Throws the First Stone ( When Every Day Was the Fourth of July ).

Shea now lives in Los Angeles and works as an electrical entrepreneur.
