Erich Gerhold (born December 18, 1944 in Bad Wildungen ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from the Albert Schweitzer School in Kassel in 1965, Gerhold studied law at the University of Marburg . After passing the second state examination, he first worked at the main association of commercial trade associations in Bonn before becoming a judge at the Kassel Social Court in 1983 . He is married and has two children.

politics

Gerhold was politically active from an early age. He was the Hessian state student representative, state chairman of the RCDS Hessen and AStA chairman at the University of Marburg. He is a member of the CDU and was, among other things, district chairman of the CDU in the Fritzlar-Homberg district (1970–1973) and, after the regional reform in Hesse, of the Schwalm-Eder district (1973–1974). From March 11, 1981 to November 30, 1982 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament as a replacement for Wolf-Dieter Firnhaber .
