Erich Germershausen

Erich Germershausen (born March 27, 1906 in Bad Gandersheim ; † September 25, 1990 ) was a Hessian politician ( LDP / FDP ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

After an apprenticeship as a druggist, Erich Germershausen attended commercial school and was a professional soldier from 1924 to 1939. From 1939 he worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn and from 1945 for the Deutsche Bundesbahn , most recently as head of the station.

He joined the NSDAP on April 1, 1940 under membership number 8.003.906. In 1946 he was a co-founder of the Melsungen district association of the FDP and from 1946 a city councilor and member of the magistrate. From March 2, 1948 to November 30, 1950 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. He later joined the German party , for which he ran unsuccessfully in the Bundestag election in Eschwege in 1953 .
