Erich Naab

Erich Naab (born February 26, 1953 in Dahn ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

He studied Catholic theology in Eichstätt , Regensburg and Freiburg im Breisgau and taught dogmatics and the history of dogmas as an adjunct professor at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt from April 1, 1976 until 2018 . The father of five daughters founded the Eichstätter Diocesan History Association and has been chairman of the association ever since.

His main research interests are ecclesiology and the doctrine of grace, Augustine , Thomas Aquinas , Joseph Ernst , Erich Przywara and Eichstätter diocesan history. He wrote numerous articles in the Biographical-Bibliographical Church Lexicon (BBKL).
