Michael Seybold

Michael Seybold (born October 1, 1933 in Ensdorf ; † August 6, 2005 in Ingolstadt ) was a German theologian .

Life

On October 10, 1958, he was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Regensburg in Rome . After receiving his doctorate in 1962 at the Pontifical Gregorian University and his habilitation in 1966 in Munich , he was a cooperator in Aiterhofen , Saal and Plattling . On May 1, 1968, he was appointed professor of fundamental theology at what was then PTH Eichstätt , and on October 1, 1971, he was given the chair of dogmatics . On 1 October 2001 emeritus .
