Erich Reuter
Erich Reuter (born March 30, 1904 in Neuhückeswagen , † October 30, 1989 in Wasserburg am Inn ) was a German officer , most recently Lieutenant General in World War II .
Life
Reuter served in the Reichswehr from 1924 . During the Second World War, he was in command of the 46th Infantry Division from August 1944 until the end of the war . In this position he was promoted to lieutenant general on April 20, 1945.
He was a Soviet prisoner of war until 1955.
