Erich Rosa

Erich Rosa (born January 18, 1901 in Schweinfurt ; † June 23, 1960 there ) was a German farmer and politician of the CSU . From 1954 until his death he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament .

Life

Rosa attended elementary school and the humanistic grammar school in Schweinfurt. He then completed an agricultural apprenticeship, which he completed in 1919, and studied at the agricultural college in Hohenheim , which he completed with a degree in agriculture. Rosa was then raised to the civil service status of the Bismarck administration near Schönhausen (Elbe) . In 1933 he leased the Rothhof estate near Sulzfeld , and in 1938 he bought the estate in Karsdorf . After he was drafted into the military, Rosa fled with his family to Schweinfurt on May 8, 1945, where he rebuilt and managed the property of his in-laws.

Political activity

Rosa was directly elected in the state elections in 1954 in the constituency of Schweinfurt-Stadt und -Land , in parliament he belonged, among other things, to the committee for affairs of displaced persons and victims of the war, as well as the advisory board for reparations at the state compensation office. In the election in 1958 his direct mandate has been confirmed. In the new electoral term he was deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group, as well as a member of the council of elders and the broadcasting council of Bavarian Broadcasting . After his death, Erwin Lauerbach succeeded him in the state parliament.
