Erich Schmidt (born February 27, 1925 in Völklingen ; † September 24, 2009 ibid) was a German wrestler who competed for the Saarland .
biography
Erich Schmidt belonged to KSV 09 Fürstenhausen and was three times Saarland welterweight champion. At the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki , he competed in the lightweight up to 67 kg for the Saarland , but was eliminated in the third round.
