Erich von Schickfus and Neudorff
Erich von Schickfus and Neudorff (born May 27, 1880 in Wilka , † December 6, 1955 in Oerlinghausen ) was a German officer , most recently major general of the Reichswehr .
Life
Schickfus and Neudorff, who came from a noble family, embarked on a military career in 1899. After the First World War , Schickfus and Neudorff were accepted into the Reichswehr, where they were promoted to lieutenant colonel on February 1, 1924 on the staff of the 3rd Division . In 1930 he became a colonel in command of the 15th Infantry Regiment in Kassel and, as such, successor to Major General Cordt Freiherr von Brandis . In 1932 he was promoted to major general. In the same year he handed over the command to Colonel Werner Kienitz and received his farewell at the age of 52.
