Ericht is a river in the Scottish highlands. It is located in the Council Area Perth and Kinross .

The source of the Ericht is Loch Ericht . The river leaves the lake at its southern dam and then flows about 6.5 kilometers to the south. At the Bridge of Ericht it flows into Loch Rannoch .

The river is part of the Tummel Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. Most of the water is taken from the river at the Loch Ericht dam and flows through pipelines to a hydroelectric power station on the north bank of Loch Rannoch, from where the water is also fed into Loch Rannoch. Accordingly, the actual river bed carries only extremely small amounts of water most of the time.
