Erik Maklári ( Hungarian Maklári Erik ; born March 6, 1989 ) is a former Hungarian ice hockey player who was active for Alba Volán Székesfehérvár in the Hungarian ice hockey league and Újpesti TE in the MOL league .

Career

Erik Maklári began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Alba Volán Székesfehérvár , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Hungarian Ice Hockey League in the 2007/08 season . In his rookie year , the attacker became Hungarian champions for the first time with his team , providing three assists in 29 games. In the following three seasons, the junior international was able to repeat this success with Alba Volán. Since the 2008/09 season he has also been on the ice for Alba Volán in the Austrian Ice Hockey League and for Alba Volán's second team in the MOL League . In the 2009/10 season he was temporarily loaned to the Miskolci Jegesmedvék JSE , for which he played a total of 26 games in the MOL League and the Hungarian League.

International

For Hungary , Maklári took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior C World Championship 2007 and the U18 Junior B World Championship in 2006 . Furthermore, he was in Hungary's squad at the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2008 and 2009 .
