Erik Weiselius (born February 3, 1984 ) is a Swedish pool player .

Career

At the European Youth Championships in 1997 , Erik Weiselius won medals for the first time among the students for the first time with second place in 8-ball and third place in 14/1 . Two years later he became the European Schoolchildren Champion in 14/1 endless and third in 8-ball. In 2000 Weiselius was able to successfully defend his title in 14/1 and became vice-European champion in 8-ball students. At the 2001 European Youth Championships he was European Junior Champion in 14/1 endless and 8-ball. At the Junior World Championship of the same year he came in third place. At the European Youth Championships in 2002 Weiselius was, in the final against Tomasz Kapłan from Poland , junior European champion in 8-ball and runner-up European champion in 14/1.

In December 2002 Weiselius won the Finland Open for the first time a Euro Tour tournament by beating Alex Lely in the final . At the 2003 European Championships he was ninth in 14/1 endless, in 2004 he reached fifth place in 9-ball and 25th place in 8-ball. In May 2004 Weiselius finished seventeenth at the BCA Open, in July he came 33rd at the 9-ball world championship and 17th at the 2004 8-ball world championship . In addition, Weiselius became Swedish champion in 14/1 endless and 8-ball in 2004. In July 2005 he came in 65th place at the 9-Ball World Cup .

Weiselius became European champion in 2003 with the Swedish national team .
