Erik von Arnim

Erik Hans Karl von Arnim (born August 1, 1873 at Kriebstein Castle , † 1945 on Rügen in Russian custody) was a Saxon manor owner and court official.

Life

Erik von Arnim was the son of the Royal Saxon Chamberlain Hans Henning von Arnim and Luise geb. Freiin von Berg. After visiting the Vitzthum Gymnasium Dresden and Gymnasium in Freiberg he studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg , the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the alma mater Lipsiensis law . In 1896 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After the legal traineeship he became a master at Kriebstein . Von Arnim was a royal Saxon chamberlain and reserve officer in the Guard-Reiter-Regiment zuDresden . He was married to Anna Freiin von Berg (Hungary). They had three sons. In September 1945 the von Arnim'sche property in Kriebstein was expropriated. In the same year Erik von Arnim died in Russian custody.
