Erika Kasahara ( Japanese 笠原 江 梨 香 , Kasahara Erika ; born October 3, 1990 in Itō ) is a Japanese Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 49 kilograms.

Kasahara played her first international title fights at the Asian Cup in Henan in 2008 . The following year she took part in the World Cup in Copenhagen for the first time . In the class up to 49 kilograms she reached the round of 16. She won her first international medal with silver at the 2010 Asian Cup in Astana . Kasahara was able to reach the second round again at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju . At the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in Bangkok , she moved into the final against Chanatip Sonkham in the class up to 49 kilograms and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London . There she came in seventh place.

Kasahara is studying at Daitō Bunka University . She took part in two Universiades , her best result being the quarter-finals in 2009.
