Laurențiu Cătălin Iorga (born March 17, 1988 in Babadag ) is a Romanian football player . The attacking midfielder has been under contract with FC Voluntari since summer 2015 .

Career

Iorga started his career at Oțelul Galați . In summer 2007 he joined the first team and played his first game in League 1 on September 15, 2007 . He soon became a regular in the team of coach Petre Grigoraș . In the first two years placements jumped out in the midfield. That changed when Dorinel Munteanu took over the training. After a fifth place at the end of the 2009/10 season , Iorga won his first title with the 2011 championship . In the following Champions League season , he came to three missions, but could not prevent his team from being eliminated.

At the beginning of 2014 Iorga moved to Astra Giurgiu . With his new club, he finished the 2013/14 season as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest and then won the Romanian Cup . After eight appearances for Astra, he joined league rival Pandurii Târgu Jiu in the summer of 2014 . During the winter break he was loaned to Oțelul for half a year. He has been playing for the first division club FC Voluntari since summer 2015 .
