Erin Krakow (born September 5, 1984 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actress .

life and career

Erin Krakow, originally from Philadelphia , attended the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach , Florida . She completed her acting studies at the Juilliard School .

Krakow earned her first television role in 2010 with the role of Tanya Gabriel in the long-running Lifetime series Army Wives . Her role belonged to the supporting cast in the fourth and fifth seasons, in the sixth season she held a leading role. After leaving the series, she was a guest on the ABC series Castle in 2013 . Since January 2014 she has been part of the main cast of the television series Janette Oke: The Coal Valley Saga on the Hallmark Channel .
