Wildlife
Erindi has one of the largest populations of wild animals of all kinds in Namibia. According to its own information, more than 10,000 large animals are at home in the area. In addition to the African elephant , these include black rhinoceros , giraffes , wild dogs , hippos , lions , Nile crocodiles and more than 20 different species of antelope .
For several years now, the owner of Erindi has been trying to get 200 more elephants from the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism . This is discussed controversially in Namibian courts. In July 2013 Erindi was awarded the contract to relocate 100 elephants from Khaudum National Park .
