Erko Sturm (born May 13, 1964 in Berlin-Tempelhof ) is a German Protestant pastor , book author, musician, musicologist and former football trainer and official.

Pastor

Erko Sturm obtained the general university entrance qualification at the Evangelical School in Berlin-Frohnau and studied Protestant theology at the Church University of Berlin . Erko Sturm worked as a pastor in the Berlin church districts of Steglitz and Zehlendorf . He is currently working in the parishes of Nathan-Söderblom and Melanchthon in Spandauer Wilhelmstadt ( Melanchthon Church) . His focus is on working with children and young people and families. He has established himself as a band coach in the parishes and various church circles. Musicians formerly supervised by him now work for Nico Santos , SDP and the Grips-Theater .

As a musician, he has played the Hound Dogs with Kay Kuntze and Matthias Dahms and with Danny Wall, a former member of the legendary Berlin beat band. He is currently on the road with Hertztakt and the Rocking Ants.

Private life

Erko Sturm grew up in the Reinickendorf district of Berlin . He is married to Ljiljana and is the father of the sons Goran and Benedikt and the grandfather of Mailin. Goran studies social work, plays with his brother Benedikt in the popular cover band Merseyside, the latter is a professional musician.
