Adventure road
Adventure road in Austria is the name of a route that serves to develop the landscape for tourism or to market regional products and services. There are over 60 adventure roads in Austria.
Adventure route and theme route are often used synonymously in Austria and correspond to the terms holiday route , tourist or tourist route or route used in Germany .
The Austrian Tourism and Tourism Association has currently named twelve adventure routes as “dream routes” because of their cultural diversity and scenic beauty ; it is the following streets:

- Silvretta High Alpine Road
The Department for Space, Landscape and Infrastructure at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna divides themed streets into culinary streets , cultural or cultural-historical streets and landscape streets . These generic terms are further divided into flower or mountain roads , cider, apple, oil, milk or cheese streets , wine routes , as well as commercial or industrial streets , art or history streets and palaces streets .
At a workshop in 2005, the “Austrian Spatial Planning Conference” (ÖROK) assessed the large number of themed roads in Austria as “oversupply or undifferentiated supply [...] regardless of the suitability or potential of the region”.
