Ernst-August Ahrens

Ernst-August Ahrens (born January 21, 1860 in Klein Flöthe , † 1926 in Klein Flöthe) was a farmer, association functionary of the Federation of Farmers and member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

Life

Ahrens grew up on his father's farm in Klein-Flöthe near Börßum . He studied at the Universities of Halle and Freiburg . In 1883 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Halle . In 1884 he joined the Corps Suevia Freiburg . After studying, practical agricultural training followed, after which he managed the farm. He was active in local politics, was a member of the district council and the district committee and was the community leader. He represented the electoral district of Goslar in the Hanover provincial parliament.

Ahrens was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1908 to 1918 . In the House of Representatives he represented the constituency of the Province of Hanover 18 (Goslar) and joined the faction of the German Conservative Party .

In 1918 he became deputy federal chairman of the farmers 'association and was the executive board member of the Hanover regional association of the farmers' association.
