Ernst-Günther Prühs

Ernst-Günther Prühs (* October 12, 1918 - November 22, 2016 ) was a German educator and local politician ( CDU ).

Career

Prühs attended the Johann Heinrich Voss School , where he graduated from high school in 1937. Professionally, he was in the school service, most recently with the rank of director of studies . He taught at his former school from 1957 to 1980. From April 23, 1974 to April 24, 1990 he was district president of the Ostholstein district . He also published on the history of the city of Eutin .

Private

Ernst-Günther Prühs was married to Herta Johanna Prühs from January 12, 1944 to December 24, 2015. Ernst-Günther Prühs met his wife, who came from Wuppertal, as a soldier in late 1942 on a study vacation in Freiburg. She worked there as a war soldier in an armaments factory. The wedding took place in Eutin, the church wedding was carried out by Eutin provost Wilhelm Kieckbusch . Ms. Prühs died on December 24, 2015.
