Ernst A. Grandits
Ernst Anton Grandits (mostly Ernst A. Grandits , born October 28, 1951 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author , filmmaker and journalist .
Life
Ernst A. Grandits studied at the Vienna Film Academy and has worked for ORF since 1975 . In Germany, he is best known for his moderation in the shipment Kulturzeit radio station 3sat , its documentation and the moderation of the presentation of the annual Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in Klagenfurt in the years 1997 to 2007. From 2005 to 2007 moderated Ernst A. Grandits also the “literary talk round” at the Weiden Literature Days initiated by Bernhard M. Baron .
Among other things, Grandits reported on the siege of Sarajevo, which he witnessed on site. Other of his documentaries deal, among other things, with the wide-ranging Eastern European culture, but also with (apparently) contemplative things from Austria, here, above all, the series Urban -Country-Austria should be mentioned. He has also directed numerous shows by media artist André Heller .
On December 23, 2016, Ernst A. Grandits presented his last edition of Kulturzeit , followed by Peter Schneeberger as the presenter .
