Ernst Adolf Döbereiner

Ernst Adolf Döbereiner (born January 12, 1892 in Altona (Elbe) , today in Hamburg , † April 19, 1945 on Gut Dobbrun near Osterburg (Altmark) ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Döbereiner studied law . In 1915 he completed his legal clerkship in court. In 1919 he worked as a government advisor and from 1921 as a government assessor in Königsberg . From 1922 to 1923 he worked as a district administrator in the Fischhausen district . Then he switched to the Schneidemühl and Allenstein government . In 1927 he worked again in Königsberg. In 1928 Döbereiner was appointed to the government council. In 1929 he was transferred to the district of Lyck as district administrator .

Shortly before the end of the war, on April 19, 1945, Döbereiner was shot by an American soldier on his Dobbrun estate in the Altmark. He was buried in the local cemetery.
