Ernst Beyersdorff
Ernst Albert Anton Beyersdorff (born February 17, 1885 in Oldenburg , † June 16, 1952 in Bad Wiessee am Tegernsee ) was a German lawyer and founder of the Association for Young Art .
Ernst Beyersdorff, who became a passive member of the Brücke artist group in 1909 , was an ardent advocate of modern art. His private art collection came to the State Museum's collections in 1984 as a "Donation from Ernst and Hanneliese Beyersdorff".
The State Museum for Art and Cultural History Oldenburg dedicated a special exhibition to Ernst Beyersdorff in spring 2017.
