Ernst Felix Becker

Ernst Felix Becker (born December 23, 1883 in Schopfheim ; † September 8, 1970 in Konstanz ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Ernst Felix Becker was the son of the Baden Finance Minister Eugen Becker . After graduating from high school in Karlsruhe , he studied law at the universities of Freiburg , Berlin and Strasbourg . In 1904 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1906 he passed the 1st state examination and in 1910 the 2nd state examination. Initially a court assessor in Breisach, he became a government assessor in Karlsruhe in 1911, in 1912 he was relegated to the Breisach district office and in the same year he became an assistant at the Bruchsal district office. In 1914 he moved to the Oberkirch District Office in the same position . In the First World War he did military service. In 1918 he was promoted to bailiff and in 1920 transferred to the Karlsruhe district office, where he was promoted to government councilor in 1924. In 1927 he moved to the Waldshut district office.

Becker was appointed district administrator in Meßkirch in 1931 and in Donaueschingen in 1934. In 1937 he was appointed director of the Oberversicherungsamt in Konstanz, where he remained in office until his retirement in April 1946. In April and May 1945 he represented the district administrator in Stockach, who was called up for military service. From 1920 to 1926/27 he was a member of the DVP .
