Ernst Friedrich Fink
Ernst Friedrich Fink (born October 24, 1806 in Kandern , † June 25, 1863 in Achern ) was a German Protestant clergyman.
Life
Fink, the son of a government auditor in Baden, studied after attending school in Lörrach, Müllheim and Freiburg i. Br. First philosophy and philology at the University of Freiburg , then Protestant theology at the universities of Halle , Berlin and Heidelberg . In 1833, he was parish administrator in Leutenheim , 1842 chaplain of the newly established mental hospital Illenau , where he remained until his death. 1863
Fink was a sponsor of the toddler school system, founder of the state association for external and internal missions and long-time editor of the sheets for internal mission in Baden . In 1855 and 1861 he was a member of the regional synod of the Evangelical Church in Baden .
