Ernst Girmindl

Ernst Girmindl (born February 26, 1931 in Hutthurm ) is a German politician ( CSU ). From 1967 to 1972 he was district administrator of the Roding district and from 1972 to 1996 district administrator of the Cham district .

Ernst Girmindl studied law in Munich and Erlangen. In October 1961 he became a legal civil servant in the Roding District Office. After the incumbent District Administrator Franz Sackmann (CSU) was appointed State Secretary in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Girmindl succeeded him. In the election in March 1967, 67% of the vote went to him, 33% to his SPD opponent Hans Holz. Before the end of his term of office, the district was dissolved and largely merged with the Cham district. Girmindl became district administrator of the new large district.
