Ernst Hölzle

Ernst Hölzle (born August 15, 1913 in Sulzbach am Kocher , † June 1, 1970 in Mutlangen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, Hölzle, who was of Protestant faith, completed an apprenticeship as a mechanic. From 1935 to 1945 he worked in Berlin's industry, where he temporarily took on managerial positions.

Political party

Hölzle joined the SPD in 1956 and had been chairman of the SPD district association Backnang since 1963 .

MP

Hölzle had been a member of the Backnang district council since 1947 . The Baden-Württemberg state parliament elected him a member of the fourth federal assembly , which in 1964 re-elected Heinrich Lübke as federal president . He belonged to the German Bundestag from February 20, 1967, when he replaced the retired MP Friedrich Schäfer , until 1969. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of Baden-Württemberg .

Public offices

Hölzle has been mayor of the municipality of Laufen am Kocher since 1946 .
