Ernst Kasper

Ernst Kasper (born August 25, 1935 in Trier , † July 25, 2008 in Aachen ) was a German architect and university professor .

Life

Ernst Kasper studied architecture at the RWTH Aachen from 1956 to 1963 . After working as an assistant at Fritz Eller's school building institute at RWTH Aachen University, he opened his own studio in Aachen in 1964, in various partnerships and the like. a. with Klaus Klever (1972–2003). He won numerous architectural competitions; he was best known for his educational buildings.

In 1971, he received a call to the professor for architecture at the Art Academy in Dusseldorf . In 2000 he was retired . Since 2000 he has taught at the Universidad Austral de Chile in Valdivia , Chile ; In 2007 he was appointed associate professor there.
