Ernst Kribben

Ernst Kribben (born June 21, 1898 in Kassel , † September 25, 1976 in Lingen (Ems) ) was a German district administrator and district director . He worked as a district administrator in the Naugard district from 1937 to 1945 , and from 1940 to 1942 as a district administrator in the neighboring district of Cammin i. Pom. From 1948 to 1961 he was senior district director of the Lingen district .

Kribben attended high schools in Kassel , Aachen and Cologne . After graduating from high school in 1916, he did military service, most recently as a lieutenant. From 1921 to 1925 he studied law and economics at the University of Münster , the University of Cologne and the University of Bonn . After working as a court trainee and government trainee, he became a government assessor in 1929. On May 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP . In 1933 he became a councilor in the Prussian Ministry of Finance . In 1936 he was briefly charged with the administration of the district office in the Coesfeld district , but then continued to work in the Prussian Ministry of Finance

Kribben then became district administrator of the Naugard district , initially provisional from October 1937, from June 1938 then finally until 1945. During this time, he was district leader of the German Red Cross in the Naugard district from 1938 to 1945 , and from 1939 to 1945 district leader of the German War Graves Commission . From 1940 to 1942 he was also a deputy district administrator in the neighboring district of Cammin i. Pom. active.

In December 1948 he became the senior district director of the Lingen district . At the end of September 1961, he retired.
