Johann Daniel Ludwig von Reppert (born March 1, 1724 in Kleinwalbur ; † February 16, 1800 in Treptow an der Rega ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1772 to 1795 he chaired the Daber-Naugard-Dewitz circle in Western Pomerania .

Life

Reppert was born in Kleinwalbur in the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg . His father Christian Reppert (* 1686; † 1742) was a landowner (" Freisass ") on Kleinwalbur and a Saxon-Coburg court and chancellery advocate. Reppert, like his three brothers (including the later General Heinrich Sebastian von Reppert ), joined the Prussian army . From 1743 he served in the Dragoon Regiment Alt Württemberg until he retired as a lieutenant in 1763.

In 1754 he had married Amalia Elisabeth von Dewitz (* 1732; † 1788), who came from the noble Pomeranian family von Dewitz . He and his wife bought Justemin from his brother-in-law in 1758 with the Vorwerk Amalienburg , located in the Daber-Naugard-Dewitz district. In 1764 he also acquired the Radem and Schloissin A.

In 1772 Reppert was elected as the successor to the resigned Christian Heinrich von Dewitz as district administrator of the Daber-Naugard-Dewitz district and, after passing his examination, was appointed in the same year. Members of the Dewitz family protested against this and wanted one of their family to become district administrator again, but were unsuccessful. As district administrator, Reppert had his seat on his Amalienburg estate. In 1795 he resigned as district administrator for reasons of age; Otto Albrecht von Arnim followed him in office .

Reppert sold his goods to General Ernst von Rüchel in 1796 and moved to the town of Treptow an der Rega , where he died four years later. Reppert's marriage resulted in three sons who became officers in the Prussian army and two daughters.
