Ernst Leonhard Heubner

Ernst Leonhard Heubner (born November 12, 1803 in Plauen ; † November 21, 1886 in Zwickau ) was a German lawyer and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

Ernst Leonhard Heubner studied law in Leipzig from 1821 to 1824. Afterwards he was an accessist in Plauen from 1824 to 1825 and from 1826 to 1833 he worked as an actuary at the district office and consistory in Leipzig. In 1833 he became a notary public . In 1835 he became a member of the Zwickau district administration .

From October 4, 1848 to April 11, 1849 he was a member of the Paulskirche parliament in Frankfurt. He was a member of the Deutscher Hof parliamentary group and the March Association . His constituency was the Kingdom of Saxony (16th, Zschopau ) . He succeeded Carl Friedrich Metzler in his mandate . His brother Otto Leonhard Heubner was also a member of parliament.

From 1852 to 1853 and from 1861 to 1868 Heubner was a member of the city council in Zwickau, from 1863 to 1868 its chairman. From 1869 to 1883 he was an unpaid city councilor in Zwickau.

In 1853 he was dismissed from civil service due to his politically liberal attitude, his civil rights were withdrawn and his mandate as a city councilor was revoked.
