Ernst Rudelitsch

Ernst Rudelitsch (* 4. May 1940 ; † 1. March 2007 in Vienna ) militia - vizeleutnant a. D., has been the organizer of the annual information show of the Austrian Armed Forces on the national holiday since 1995 and has been responsible for public relations and information at the Vienna Military Command for many years .

Life

In addition to his full-time activities as head of sales and accounting manager for various companies, Ernst Rudelitsch had been a particular concern of the armed forces since his military service in 1958. As the proverbial “Mister Militia” he was the convinced embodiment of the “citizen in uniform” and, in the course of the reorganization of the Austrian Armed Forces, knew how to popularize the militia concept in Austria through personal commitment, idealism and a wealth of ideas. Rudelitsch was known primarily for his organizational talent. Since the big army show with military parade in the anniversary year of the State Treaty in 1995, he has been the main organizer of the annual information show of the armed forces at Heldenplatz , at the Vienna Exhibition Center and most recently on the National Day 2005 on Rathausplatz .

Ernst Rudelitsch was buried at the Stammersdorfer Zentralfriedhof (group 33, row 2, number 40).
