Ernst Schmid (writer)
Ernst Schmid (born September 8, 1958 in Jenbach / Tyrol ) is an Austrian author and secondary school teacher who lives and works in Linz .
Life
Ernst Schmid spent his childhood and youth in Schärding in Upper Austria . Schmid trained at the Pedagogical Academy in Linz, where he now works as a secondary school teacher and he also has his residence in Linz.
Schmid is a member of the Austrian PEN Club as well as the Austrian Writers' Association , the Linz Authors' Circle and the crime writers ' association " Das Syndikat ".
