Ernst Strouhal

Ernst Strouhal (* 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author, journalist and cultural history researcher.

Life

Ernst Strouhal is ao. University professor at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and lecturer at the Technical University of Vienna . Together with Jakob Scheid and Brigitte Felderer, he developed a replica of Kempelen's speaking machine at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2004 . Together with Michael Ehn , he has been in charge of the weekly chess column for the daily newspaper Der Standard since 1990 . Conception and participation in exhibitions with a focus on the cultural history of the game.
