Ernst Tomek
Ernst Heinrich Tomek (born October 19, 1879 in Vienna ; † September 10, 1954 there ) was an Austrian church historian .
Ernst Tomek worked as a diocesan archivist. He was a university professor in Graz and from 1919 in Vienna. There he was dean of the Catholic Theological Faculty in 1924/25, 1932/33 and from 1938 to 1945 . In 1933/34 he was rector of the University of Vienna . From 1945 to 1949 he was a senator in the Catholic Theological Faculty.
