Ernst Wehrli

Ernst Adolf Wehrli (born August 14, 1892 in Wasterkingen ; † May 6, 1970 in Zurich ) was a Swiss artist who worked in the fields of painting, graphics and lithography.

As a painter and draftsman, Wehrli was strongly influenced by Rudolf Maria Holzapfel's pan-idealism . From 1936 he ran a private painting school in Zurich. In his lessons and guided tours in the Zurich Kunsthaus "in an unconventional, absolutely unacademic way the knowledge of physiognomics , graphology and psychology".

His daughter is the pan-idealist artist Marblum Berg-Wehrli.
