The Ersin ( Russian Эрзин ) is a right tributary of the Tes ( Tes-Chem ) in the Russian Republic of Tuva in southern Siberia .

The Ersin rises in the Chorumnug-Taiga mountain range of the Eastern Tannu-ola Mountains in the southeast of Tuwa. It flows in a predominantly westerly direction through the Koschuun Ersin . It reaches the Uws-Nuur basin and passes the Ersin administrative center before finally flowing into the Tes-Chem. The Ersin has a length of 139 km. Its catchment area covers 4390 km². The mean discharge at the Ersin gauge is 23 m³ / s. The Ersin reaches its greatest runoff in May (73 m³ / s monthly mean) during the spring floods .
