Erwin A. Lang
Erwin A. Lang (born July 31, 1908 in Schaffhausen ; † January 9, 1973 in Wetzikon ; resident in Schaffhausen) was a Swiss journalist and politician ( KPS , SP ).
After completing a commercial apprenticeship and a journalistic traineeship, Lang worked as a freelance journalist in Zurich from 1933 . From 1946 he was an editor and from 1947 also secretary of the Swiss Textile and Factory Workers' Association . From 1953 to 1973 Lang was editor of Die Arbeit (from 1960 Oberländer AZ ) in Wetzikon.
Lang belonged to the KPS until around 1939, then to the SP. From 1950 to 1953 he was on the Zurich municipal council . From 1955 to 1973 he was a member of the Cantonal Council . From 1965 to 1967 he was also a National Councilor .
Lang was married four times, most recently to Hedi Lang from 1957 .
