Erwin Goller

Erwin Goller (born December 11, 1864 in Schwarzenbach an der Saale ; † June 27, 1918 in Erlangen ) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Goller attended the Latin School in Bayreuth , the Realgymnasium in Nuremberg and the Universities of Munich and Strasbourg , where he studied natural sciences, especially mineralogy and geology . In Strasbourg he was second assistant at the mineralogical institute. He received his doctorate in 1889 on the subject of "The Lamprophyrganges of the southern Vorpessart". In 1890 he co-founded the company Fichtelgebirgs-Granitwerke Künzel, Schedler & Co. in Schwarzenbach an der Saale and Münchberg, which were known as Reinersreuther Granitwerke . He served in the Royal Bavarian 1st Field and 2nd Foot Artillery Regiment and retired as a first lieutenant. From 1896 he was a member of the Bayreuth Chamber of Commerce.

From 1905 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Free People's Party in the constituency of Upper Franconia ( Hof , Naila , Rehau and Münchberg districts ).
