Erwin Lorenz

Erwin Lorenz (born April 27, 1892 in Nieder-Wildungen ; † December 4, 1970 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( LDP ) and member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse , a predecessor of the Hessian state parliament .

Erwin Lorenz worked as a businessman after attending elementary school and high school. In the Weimar Republic he was politically close to the DVP . From 1931 until the National Socialists came to power in 1933 and from April 1, 1945 to April 1, 1946, he was first honorary councilor of the city of Wildungen. On May 1, 1937, he joined the NSDAP . After the first free local elections in Hesse in 1946 , he was a city councilor in Bad Wildungen from February 1, 1946. From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 he was a member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse, which advised the constitution. From 1924 to 1957 he was in charge of the Bad Wildungen volunteer fire department.
