Erwin Raidt

Erwin Raidt (* 19th July 1948 ) is a former German cyclist and DDR -Master in cycling .

Athletic career

Raidt started cycling at BSG Empor Fiko Rostock . He won the GDR championship in 1971 in the team time trial with the SC DHfK Leipzig (together with Manfred Dähne , Bernd Knispel and Michael Schiffner ), in 1970 he won the bronze medal in this discipline. From 1968 he drove in the GDR performance class. In 1968 he was second in the traditional race around Berlin behind Lothar Appler , in 1971 and 1972 he was third in each case. In the GDR tour he came in 1968 on his debut place 35. His best result in the tour was 1972 place 11. In the GDR national team he was used in tours in Poland , the Soviet Union and the ČSSR . In 1974 he ended his career.
