The Archparchy Antelien in Lebanon ( Latin Anteliensis Maronitarum ) is an eparchy of the Maronite Church . It was founded on June 11, 1988 with its headquarters in Antelias . Joseph Mohsen Béchara was installed as the first archbishop . In June 2012 the previous Curia Bishop of the Maronite Patriarchate of Antioch and the whole Orient , Camille Zaidan , was elected Béchara's successor. Zaidan died in October 2019.
