Esraa Samir Owis (born October 15, 1997 ) is an Egyptian long and triple jumper .

Athletic career

Esraa Owis gained her first international experience at the 2013 African Youth Championships in Warri , where she won the gold medal in the long jump with 5.63 m and the bronze medal in the triple jump with 11.79 m. She then won the Arab Youth Championships in Cairo with 5.72 m and won silver in the triple jump with 11.89 m. In the following year she won both competitions at the Arab Junior Championships in Cairo and qualified in the long jump for the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where she finished eighth with 5.70 m in the final. In 2015 at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa , she won the silver medal in the three-jump with 13.04 m and the bronze medal in the long jump with 5.89 m. She then won the bronze medal at the Arab Championships in Manama with a width of 6.05 m behind the Algerian Tahani Romaissa Belabiod and Jamaa Chnaik from Morocco. In 2018 she finished eighth in the triple jump at the African Championships in Asaba with 12.22 m and ninth in the long jump with 5.86 m. The following year she won the Arab Championships in Cairo with 6.09 m in the long jump. Then she reached the African Games in Rabat with 12.62 m rank ninth in the triple jump and was sixth in the long jump with 6.07 m.

In 2018 and 2019 Owis became Egyptian champion in long and triple jump.
