The Estádio 11 de Novembro ( German  Stadium of November 11th ) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Angolan capital Luanda in the province of the same name . The name refers to November 11, 1975, the date of independence of Angola from Portugal .

history

The arena was built by the Shanghai Urban Construction Group Corporation on the occasion of the 2010 African Cup of Nations and offers space for 50,000 spectators. On December 27, 2009, the Estádio 11 de Novembro was opened. There is a presidential box with 120 seats, VIP boxes with 2,080 seats, a press stand with 200 seats, 400 seats for the disabled and restaurants. The stadium also has parking facilities for 3,000 cars and 80 buses.
