Esteve Soler Miralles (born December 18, 1976 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat ) is a Catalan playwright.

Life

Esteve Soler Miralles studied directing and dramaturgy at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona . He teaches scenic writing at the Sala Beckett theater in Barcelona. His plays were premiered in Catalan theaters, according to Jo sóc un altre! at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and Davant de l'home at the Teatre Lliure . The play Memòria premiered at the Bell Theater in London . The trilogy Contra el progreso , Contra el amor and Contra la democracia has been translated into seventeen languages ​​since 2008 and also staged in the USA and South America. Contra el progrés (Against Progress) was shown in 2008 at the Stückemarkt of the Berlin Theatertreffen , staged by Lars-Ole Walburg .

Soler's trilogy was in the theater finale of the Premium Max in 2014 .
