The Etropole Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Етрополе wrach Etropole ) is a 620 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It projects 0.64 km east of Melnik Peak , 0.68 km to the west of Sliven Peak and 1.8 km northwest of the Atanasoff-nunataks in Melnik Ridge on
Bulgarian scientists mapped it while surveying the Tangra Mountains between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the city of Etropole in central Bulgaria .
