Ettore Tavernari won the 800 meters in Prague in July 1927.

Ettore Tavernari (born January 16, 1905 in Modena , † 1981 ) was an Italian sprinter and middle-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 he was eliminated over 800 m and in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.

In 1934 he was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Turin in each case over 400 m and in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
